Gas supply - 2025

NAFTA Production offers natural gas with delivery in 2025 in a tender procedure. Details on the offer can be found in the Tender Conditions. The tender is now open for bid submissions. We invite the participants to register and submit their bids to gassale@nafta-production.sk

The deadline for registration is Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 15:00 CET. 
The deadline for bid submissions is Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 13:00 CET.

NAFTA Production will evaluate the bids and announce the results to individual bidders by Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 13:30 CET.

Personal Data Protection

Effective 25 May 2018, the processing of personal data is governed by Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (either “Regulation” or “GDPR”) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on protection of personal data and amendment of certain acts (“Personal Data Protection Act”). Because the protection of personal data is very important for NAFTA a.s. (“NAFTA Production s.r.o.” or “Company”), all personal data will be processed in compliance with requirements of this legislation, with particularly special emphasis placed on security and protection of it.

  • Fulfilling information obligations

Information that is related to the processing of personal data pertaining to a data subject will be provided by the Company in compliance with the GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act (i.e. either when it is acquired from the data subject or, if they are acquired from another source, within a reasonable period of having acquired them).

  1. Resume Screening

    Our first contact with you is in the form of your cover letter and your CV. If you meet our key requirements, we will call you and invite you to a personal meeting to exchange information of interest.

  2. Meetings with Applicants

    At the initial meeting, you will have a conversation with the Human Resources representative and, if possible, with your potential supervisor. Depending on the position being filled, there might be testing involved (professional, language skills, solving model situations).

  3. Selection Outcome

Production

Mining is carried out based on the relevant permits obtained from state administration bodies, primarily the Mining Offices. We are currently the holder of 14 mining areas, which authorize it to extract natural gas and oil.

  • 10 mining areas under the jurisdiction of the Regional Mining Office in Bratislava
  • 4 mining areas under the jurisdiction of the Regional Mining Office in Košice

The hydrocarbon extraction process itself is relatively simple, does not harm the environment and the surrounding environment in which it is carried out.
It is based on customary and best practices. Hydrocarbon flows to the surface from deposits located hundreds of meters below the surface, where it is captured. In the surface technology and equipment, its quality characteristics required for deliveries to the existing SPP distribution network will be ensured in the case of natural gas deliveries, or for oil deliveries.

In all our activities, operational safety, health protection of employees, suppliers and people living in the vicinity of our operations, as well as the environment, are one of our most important priorities.

Abandonment - responsibility

Hydrocarbon extraction is a time-limited activity. For our company, it is a priority to ensure that any of our facilities, be it drilling or surface technologies, do not have a negative impact on the environment or the resulting appearance of the site after the end of the activities. This approach can be verified with the latest liquidation projects - for example, the Moravana tailings pond or the oldest oil center Cunín, where green areas suitable for recreational use remain after the completion of the rehabilitation without a hint of previous activity. This is also why we are convinced that even after the end of mining activities, individual locations have many possibilities for further development.
